Built one outfit
at a time
Zauq opened in 2009 the way most good ateliers do — with a handful of clients, a small team of karigars, and a refusal to let anything leave the studio that wasn't right.
We have grown in the years since, dressing brides across Pakistan and shipping worldwide. What has not changed is the method: pure fabrics and never synthetic, genuine jewellery materials worked into the embroidery, and every stitch done by hand — we use no machine work at all. Nothing is mass-produced, and nothing ships until it fits.
Three things we won't compromise
Fit before everything
An outfit that isn't cut to your body will never look expensive, however heavy the work on it. Measurements are taken properly and fittings are included, not sold as extras.
Handwork, honestly
Zardozi, dabka and resham are done by hand by our own karigars. Every stitch is done by hand — we have never put a machine to our embroidery, and we never will.
Dates we can keep
We would rather refuse a deadline than miss one. If your date is tight, you'll hear that at consultation — not a week before the wedding.
