Before You Commission
Questions brides ask us
How far in advance should I order a bridal outfit?
Twelve weeks for a full barat piece with dense zardozi and dabka work, eight for a walima or mehndi outfit, and four for lighter formal wear. Those windows include the two fittings. If your date is tighter than that, ask anyway — we will tell you honestly what is achievable rather than take the booking and miss it.
How many fittings are included?
Two, with adjustments made between them. They are part of the commission, not charged as extras. Your measurements are taken at the design consultation and kept on record, so a second piece ordered later starts from the same numbers.
Do you deliver outside Pakistan?
Yes. We deliver across Pakistan and ship worldwide. For overseas orders the fittings are the thing to plan around — talk to us early so the schedule allows for them.
What kind of embroidery do you do?
Zardozi, dabka, resham, sequin and pearl work, done by hand by our own karigars. We work with katan, jamawar, velvet, organza, net and tissue, and dye to match a shade you bring us. Where machine work is genuinely the better choice for a piece, we say so rather than pretend otherwise.
Can I see the current collection before ordering?
Our newest articles are not sent out as photographs. Book a video call and we will show you what is in the studio live — how the fabric falls, how heavy the work is and the true colour, none of which a photograph reports honestly. You are also welcome to visit the studio by appointment.
Where is the studio?
855-F / 856-F, Kinari Bazaar, Rang Mahal, in the Walled City of Lahore. Consultations are by appointment so you have our full attention and the floor to yourself.
