Ivory Nikkah Sharara
Ivory and gold, cut to sit well through a long ceremony.
A sharara flares in one continuous line from the waist or hip down, closer to a very wide palazzo. There is no horizontal join at the knee — that single detail is what separates it from a gharara, and it is the thing most often got wrong.
The absence of that seam is also why it wears so easily. Nothing restricts the knee, so the garment moves when you do, which makes it the usual choice for mehndi: standing, dancing and being photographed for several hours.
