Ordering Pakistani bridal wear from the UK, US or Canada
A good part of our work is for brides who are not in Pakistan — in the UK, the US, Canada and across the Gulf — who want genuine Lahore couture for a wedding abroad. It is more straightforward than most people expect. Here is how commissioning from a distance actually works.
You do not need to be in Lahore
Everything we make is made to order, and made-to-order does not require you to be in the room. What it requires is accurate measurements, a clear brief, and an honest look at fabric and work before anything is cut. All three can be handled remotely, and we do it regularly.
Measurements from a distance
We guide you through taking your measurements properly — the ones that matter for a bridal silhouette — over a call, or you can have them taken by a local tailor to a list we send. Because two fittings are built into every commission, there is room to refine the fit rather than gambling everything on one set of numbers.
Seeing the real thing
A photograph never reports fabric or colour honestly — the fall, the weight, the true shade all change on camera. So we show you the current collection live on a video call: how the cloth moves, how heavy the work is, what the colour really is. It is the closest thing to standing in the studio, and it is the step that prevents surprises.
Timelines and shipping
- Start early. Add posting time to the making time. A bridal commission is best begun 8–12 weeks ahead; from abroad, give it a little more so shipping is never the thing that runs you late.
- We ship worldwide. Delivery charges apply and are quoted before dispatch. Any customs duties or import taxes in your country are set by that country and are the customer’s responsibility — worth checking your local threshold in advance.
- You are kept updated at each stage, so you always know where your piece is in the making.
